Nine die in E Cape taxi crash

Cracdock - Nine people were killed in a head-on collision between two minibus taxis travelling between Cookhouse and Port Elizabeth on Saturday, Eastern Cape police said on Sunday.
Inspector Stefanie Smith said one of the taxi drivers allegedly drove into the oncoming lane.
"The driver of one of the taxis, who was alone in the vehicle at the time of the accident, as well as the driver of the other taxi and seven of his passengers died instantly."
Three passengers were admitted to a Port Elizabeth hospital in a serious condition.
The identities of the victims have not yet been determined.
