CT man dies in freak accident

Cape Town - A foreman at a construction site was crushed to death by an excavator bucket in Cape Town on Wednesday, police spokesperson Captain Billy Jones said.

David Samuels, 53, was smashed against a wall by the machine at 13:30 on the corner of Bloem and Loop Streets.

The Ross Demolition foreman died at the scene.

"The circumstances of the incident will be investigated by the police," Jones said.
