Germiston factory fire put out

Germiston - Fire fighters on Friday managed to extinguish a blaze that broke out at an electrical transformer factory in Heriotdale, east of Johannesburg.
Emergency services spokesperson Malcolm Midgely said the fire started at around 05:30 on Friday at the factory on Lower Germiston road and had been fuelled by a large oil supply inside.
Midgely said the cause of the fire was still being investigated.
No one was injured and the blaze was put out shortly after 08:00.
