Johannesburg - Two men appeared in the Bellville Magistrate's Court on Monday for a double murder in Delft last year, Western Cape police said.
Senior Superintendent Billy Jones said Deodath Adams, 28, and Raymond Hendricks 34, were remanded in custody and the case postponed to March 5.
Jones said the men were arrested when the bodies of Simthebred Ntengetho 17, and Unathi Mavuduka, 20, were found in the bush by people passing by in Delft on May 25 last year.
"Their bodies were found partially clothed (only in their underwear), their hands were tied behind their backs and they had single bullet wounds to their heads."
Jones said the two suspects escaped from the court cells before their scheduled court appearance last week Tuesday.
Adams was arrested on Sunday morning in the Paarl area and Hendricks was arrested in Delft on Monday.
