Parachutist hurt in accident

Durban - A parachutist was airlifted to hospital after a freak accident in Cato Ridge on Sunday, paramedics said.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said the man, believed to be in his 30s, had sustained multiple internal injuries and was in a critical condition.
"It is unknown what has gone wrong", said Botha.
A helicopter took the man to St Anne's hospital in Pietermaritzburg.
