Cape Town - After two weeks of counting public nominations and assessing the nominees according to criteria, the finalists for the inaugural Good Hope FM Best of Cape Town Awards have been announced.

"The finalists have received very numerous nominations from the people of Cape Town who believe the finalists excel in their field of expertise. We wish the finalists and all those behind the scenes well during the competitive voting phase," says awards director Alison Mulhall.
The next phase of the awards is also open to the public. In order to ascertain the winner in each category, go to the website to cast your vote.
Or SMS each candidate's unique code to 35432 to cast your SMS vote. Each SMS costs R3 and all proceeds will go the establishment of the Amy Biehl Foundation's Tik Prevention Programme.
The finalists in every category with the most votes will win in their sector, as decided by the people of Cape Town.
Winners in all categories will be announced at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on 13 September.
