Robbers hit PE bank

Port Elizabeth - Robbers made off with R700 000 after a cash-in-transit heist outside a Standard Bank branch in Port Elizabeth on Thursday, police said.
Director Neil Jantjies said two security guards were loading money into an ATM around 12:45 when they were attacked by three armed robbers.
"The robbers threatened guards with firearms and fled with R700 000".
It is not known how the robbers left the scene of crime.
No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
