Johannesburg - Armed robbers forced themselves into a Shoprite-Checkers in Bara Mall in Diepkloof, Soweto, on Sunday and took an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
Sergeant Richard Munyai said 10 men entered the shop about 16:30 on Sunday.
"One was armed with an AK-47 and the others with shotguns," he said.
No shots were fired and no one was injured in the attack.
Munyai said the suspects were unknown and were still at large.
Bara Mall is a new shopping centre in Diepkloof - it was opened last week Thursday.
