Biker killed in head-on collision

Pietermaritzburg - A biker was killed in a head-on collision with a car in Pietermaritzburg, the KwaZulu-Natal Transport department said on Monday.
Spokesperson Zinhle Mngomezulu said the incident took place on Campsdrift Road at 22:00 on Sunday night.
"A Toyota Corolla car driver alleges she did not see the motorbike and collided with it."
The biker had not been wearing a helmet at the time. He died at the scene.
"Police have opened a case of culpable homicide against the car driver," said Mngomezulu.
