Rapist 'paid' child with orange

Kroonstad - A man who raped a child and compensated his victim with an orange, has been sent to prison for 18 years effectively.
Ben Mpemvana, who was 16 at the time when he raped the four-year-old daughter of a Henneman family, was 18 when Judge H Rampai passed sentence.
He had been convicted earlier for rape in the Welkom regional court for sexual offences by regional Magistrate Jurie Human.
