Girl wounded in gang shoot-out

Cape Town - A 16-year-old girl was wounded in the leg when she was caught in a cross-fire between two rival gangs in East Ridge, Mitchells Plains in the Cape Flats on Friday, Western Cape police said on Saturday.
Captain Johan Wiese said the girl was taken to hospital and was in a stable condition.
He said no arrests had been made and police were investing the shoot-out between rival gangs, the Mongrels and the Jukkies.
