Truck causes multiple pile-up

Johannesburg - About thirty people were injured when a truck crashed into a funeral cortage near Duiwelskloof on Saturday morning.
The accident happened when the truck's brakes failed on the downhill.
It crashed into the vehicle of inspector Johan Mohale of the Duiwelskloof police before it crashed into another vehicle and caused a chain collision with another three cars.
Mohale is in a critical condition in a Polokwane hospital, while the truck driver is in a serious condition in Kgapane Hospital.
In another accident, twelve people died and four were seriously injured when a truck and minibus were involved in a head-on collision near Northam.
The truck driver allegedly failed to stop at a T-junction and crashed into the minibus.
