Pretoria - A Pretoria security guard says his family is praying that Happy Sindane is in fact their long-lost son.
Happy, an 18-year-old boy who claims he was kidnapped 12 years ago and raised by a black family in Mpumalanga, appeared at the Bronkhorstspruit police station on Saturday.
Jan-Hendrik Botha of the western suburb of Danville on Wednesday said he just wanted to know "whether Happy is Jannie", who disappeared 11 years ago.
Jan-Hendrik and his wife Sarie were the first couple to come forward to have blood samples compared to that of Happy.
"Nothing else matters. We must find out the truth. We have had so many false alarms in the past. I only pray that it is not the case this time."
