Bloemfontein - The wife of murdered Free State official Noby Ngombane and two other women will appear in the Bloemfontein district court on Monday in connection with his murder, Free State police said.
Superintendent Annelie Wrensch confirmed on Friday that Nokwanda and two women, believed to be her relatives, had been arrested.
"They would stay in custody until Monday," Wrensch said.
Police arrived at the home of Nokwanda Ngombane in Hillsboro, Bloemfontein at around 13:00. She left with police officers.
A brother and sister of Nokwanda's - Bongani Mlambo, 28, and Sephumle Booi, 23 - appeared in court on Thursday.
Mlambo, an official at the provincial social development department, faces a charge of murder and Booi, an employee at a clothing design business, faces a charge of accessory after the fact to murder.
They are to stay in custody until their next court appearance on Wednesday, July 27.
Ngombane, 38, was gunned down at his Hillsboro home on March 22.
