Woman in court for dad's murder

Johannesburg - A 28-year-old woman arrested for the murder of her father was granted R1 000 bail by the Atteridgeville Magistrate's Court on Monday, police said.

Inspector Daniel Mavimbela said Tsholofelo Mosoane of Atteridgeville allegedly murdered her father, Sidney Mosoane, 58, on Friday.

The case against her was postponed to January 22 for further investigation.

She allegedly stabbed her father when he reprimanded her for her late nights out while leaving her baby with the family.

An argument ensued and she grabbed a sharp object and stabbed him in the upper body.

The father was taken to Kalafong Hospital where he died, Mavimbela said.
