Incompetent attorneys slammed

Cape Town - It was time attorneys started doing their work properly, an irritated Cape High Court judge said on Monday.
"Standards in this division have plummeted to unbelievable depths," said Judge Dennis van Reenen after postponing a series of unopposed civil matters because of missing or incorrect documents in the court file.
"I can't see why the client should suffer because of the incompetence of attorneys."
