Washington - Deposed Haitian president Jean Bertrand Aristide will leave Jamaica on Sunday for South Africa, a spokesperson in Kingston told AFP.
"The departure is now confirmed for Sunday," said the spokesman Huntley Medley.
Aristide resigned as president of Haiti and fled on February 29 as rebel forces closed on the capital.
He went to the Central African Republic before going to Jamaica.
South Africa announced earlier this month that it was prepared to temporarily accept Aristide.
