Hunt on for female rape gang

Johannesburg - North West police were searching on Wednesday for four women in Rustenburg said to be targeting male hitchhikers and raping them.
Constable Botshelo Mothutsane said the women reportedly offer lifts to male hitchhikers, force them at gunpoint to drink a spiked juice and then rape them.
"They then rob the men of their belongings and leave them in isolated areas," said Mothutsane.
On Monday, another man woke up to find himself stranded and naked in Phokeng after he was given a lift. He was allegedly raped and robbed of R3 700.
Mothutsane said a case of rape and armed robbery was being investigated. Similar cases have been reported in recent months in Rustenburg.
