Johannesburg - Two farm workers have been arrested for killing Drakensberg farmer Jenny Thornton, Eastern Cape police said on Wednesday.
Thornton was found dead in her dining room on Tuesday. She'd been shot in her head and stomach, probably the day before, said Superintendent Manus Marnewick.
Her BMW and R250 cash were missing. The car was later found 10km from the farm.
Police arrested the two men, aged 20 and 23, on Tuesday, said Marnewick.
"The 23-year-old suspect was found in possession of the victim's missing BMW keys, house keys, cellphone and cash. He also carried a firearm and a knife," he said.
