PW Botha rushed to hospital

George - Former president PW Botha was admitted to a local clinic in George on Friday morning, SABC radio news reported.
Botha had been rushed to the clinic by emergency rescue personnel.
The manager of the medi-clinic, George Schutte, refused to divulge details of Botha's condition, saying information about patients was confidential.
A spokesperson at the Botha residence, Die Anker, said Botha was admitted to the clinic for a routine examination.
