4 jump from burning flats

Pretoria - Four people have apparently jumped to their deaths from a burning block of flats in Pretoria.
A fire broke out on the 20th floor of Kruger Park flats in Struben Street on Tuesday morning.
Nick Dollman of Netcare 911 said the four victims appear to have jumped from an unknown height out of the burning high-rise building. "All four sustained severe injuries and have been declared dead at the scene by paramedics."
He said paramedics were also attending to several patients at the scene who were treated for smoke inhalation.
Paramedics from the private and provincial ambulance services, fire fighters and police officials, were on the scene.
It is alleged that residents started the fire in the old block of flats after being threatened with eviction, Dollman said.
