De Klerk 'progressing well'

Cape Town - Former president FW de Klerk was progressing well at the Panorama Medi-Clinic in Cape Town on Saturday, reported SABC radio news.
De Klerk is recovering from complications after a colon operation.
According to the report, doctors monitoring his condition said De Klerk was being kept under sedation and that prognosis was good.
De Klerk underwent a colon operation last week.
He has since been placed on a ventilator after experiencing respiratory problems.
