Pretoria - The owner of a lotto ticket purchased in Pretoria-North, KwaMahlanga or Bronkhorstspruit will lose his R1.5m jackpot if he does not claim it by next month.
"A R1 588 901 share in a lotto jackpot will expire on the midnight of Monday February 23, 2009," said national lottery spokesperson Thembi Tulwana.
"The jackpot for the draw was just over R3m and there were two winning tickets. Only one of the winners came forward to claim."
He said the ticket was bought in either Cullinan in Pretoria North or KwaMahlanga or Bronkhorstspruit.
The winning numbers - 5, 13, 14, 21, 33, 48 - were drawn on Saturday, February 23, 2008.
"Please go to all the spots where you normally hide your lotto tickets because you might just lose out on a chance of claiming your prize," said Tulwana.
In December last year, another lotto jackpot expired when the Benoni winner of R1 160 385 never claimed the money.
