Man kills 'wife', hangs himself

2003-05-23 11:40

Pretoria - A man beat to death the woman with whom he was living and then hanged himself from a tree in Capital Park in the early hours on Friday, said police.

The couple was unemployed and homeless, said inspector Percy Morokane. They had been living in a deserted one-roomed railway house on property owned by Spoornet.

Morokane said the man beat the woman on the head repeatedly with a blunt object inside the house, which he then apparently set alight.

He then went and hanged himself with a piece of wire about 500m away from the house.

It was not known if the couple was married.

Corry says... jeezuz, enough already we get it. Most of the bonehead racist bigots are pissed that they can no longer treat blacks as animals and be the "master race". Get over it.
Those same dutchmen say to the blacks to stop blaming apartheid, it's been over for 15 years yet in the next article they still moan about what the English did in concentration camps in the boer war a million years ago. What's good for the goose must surely be good for the gander.
Yes, there are problems, yes they are going to take a long time to be rectified. Yes the current government is corrupt and a bumch of crooks (no less than the NP governement mind you, ask the Smit's daughter about that one).
Zuma is an perverted philanthropist bereft of morals interested only in oiling his dipstick in anything resembling a woman.
But seriously, what results do you expect from 40 years of "why teach them maths when all they need to learn is how to use a hammer and shovel".
No one said it was going to be easy or smooth. It never was and anyone thinking otherwise needs a serious reality check.

And before anyone gets all huffy about my bonehead and dutchman remarks -

Dit laat my dink aan 'n Engelse gesegte "The night is at its darkest just before the dawn"
