Johannesdburg - An East Rand man was told, "Welcome to the world of Aids," after being forced at gunpoint to have sex with three women in their 30s, police say.
Superintendent Andy Pieke said the highly traumatised 18-year-old reported the alleged sexual assault to the Tsakane police station commander on Tuesday.
An earlier attempt to lay a charge resulted in officers laughing at him and refusing to open a case.
The boy was accompanied by his mother on Tuesday.
Pieke said the teenager told police he was walking through open veld between Tsakane and Duduza on the morning of December 20 when he was beckoned by three women.
The boy went over to the women and was told he must have sex with them.
When the youth refused, one of the women drew a firearm and the boy was forced to take off his trousers.
"He was then ordered to have sex with all three women. The youth claims that after this the women said welcome to the world of Aids," Pieke said.
