Hlophe case: Judgment reserved
2008-08-20 21:43
Johannesburg - The Johannesburg High Court reserved judgment on Wednesday on an application by Cape Judge President John Hlophe for a declaration against the Constitutional Court.
A full bench of five judges presided in the unprecedented case.
Hlophe claimed the Constitutional Court infringed on his right to dignity by issuing a media statement charging that he tried to improperly influence two of its judges with regard to a ruling involving Jacob Zuma.
No judgment date has been given.
