Johannesburg - A Kempton Park man who left home to draw money from an ATM to pay an electricity bill has gone missing, police reported on Friday.
Superintendent Eugene Opperman said there was no information, or even hint, of what had happened to Herman van der Merwe, 49, after he withdrew cash at a Brakpan Absa ATM about 15:40 on Thursday.
Van der Merwe, of Birch Acres, Kempton Park, supposedly went to Brakpan and then to Elandsfontein to pay the electricity bill.
No one had seen him since he withdrew the money.
Van der Merwe was driving a white Nissan single cab bakkie with the registration number NWK457GP at the time of his disappearance.
