Johannesburg - Dagga worth R500 000 was discovered in a house in Galeshewe, Northern Cape, and a 25-year-old man arrested, police said on Friday.
Spokesperson Captain Tony Modise said police allegedly found 91.8 kilograms of dagga in his house in Mtshasa street in Galeshewe.
Police say they believe he was the main Galeshewe-area supplier.
He will be charged with possession of, and dealing in dagga.
In two separate incidents in Galeshewe two men, aged 25 and 29, were found in possession of 20 grams of dagga each.
The men were only charged with possession, though the dagga was found in ready-for-sale small packages called "fingers".
Director Pieter Myburgh, station commissioner, commended officers involved in the raid.
Northern Cape police also launched the following year-long campaigns: the Safer Schools campaign, the No Knife campaign, the Anti-rape campaign, the Ke Moja (no to drugs) campaign and the Reject and Report Stolen Goods campaign, said Modise.
