Durban - A Durban man shot his girlfriend dead on Friday before turning the gun on himself, KwaZulu-Natal police said.
Superintendent Jay Naicker said the two were arguing on Avondale Road in Morningside when the man pulled out a gun and shot his girlfriend in the head. He then shot himself.
ER24 spokesperson Derrick Banks said the woman died at the scene and the man in hospital. It was not known what the argument was about.
