Durban - A teacher was stabbed and robbed of her car on Monday, police said on Tuesday.
The incident happened just days after a group of teachers were held at gunpoint at a nearby Durban South school.
Police spokesperson Superintendent Daniela Veldhuizen said the teacher was leaving a school in Mariannhill when the incident took place.
The woman was stabbed and her car was taken, she said.
The teacher is recovering at a local hospital.
Last week, 23 teachers were held up at Savanna Park Secondary school, which is situated three kilometres away from Mariannhill.
Jewellery, cellphones and cash were taken from the staff but no one was injured.
