Cape Town - "If I don't recognise his face, my heart will tell me..."

So says Michelle Ohlsson, who is convinced she'll be reunited with her son, Matthew, who disappeared six years ago when he was nine.

It was the beginning of the March holidays and the family was about to go on an excursion from their home in Westridge, Mitchell's Plain, near Cape Town.

Dutiful Matthew offered to fetch the rubbish bin from the road an hour or so after the refuse-removal truck had done its rounds. He was not seen again. Ohlsson says: "He's 15 now. I fantasise about the day I'll see him again. One day, I'll have some answers, and it won't be long now. I know it..."
