Woman stabs boyfriend

Johannesburg - A 20-year-old woman was arrested on Saturday for the murder of her boyfriend at Old Hospital near Vereeninging, police said.
Spokesperson Captain Thivhulawi Tshilate said the woman allegedly stabbed the man, 26, after they had an argument.
"The argument was about money he had given to her to buy food, but when he came home after midnight there was no food."
Tshilate said the two argued, fought and the woman allegedly stabbed the man several times in the chest, neck and the back with a knife.
"They went to bed after that. She only noticed in the morning that he wasn't moving. She called paramedics who certified him dead on the scene."
She was arrested on the scene and would be appearing at the Vereeniging Magistrate's Court on Monday, Tshilate said.
