Drinking buddies robbed

Vaalbank - Police are searching for three suspects who robbed three men of R5 000, cellphones and their wedding rings while they were drinking together on Sunday night.
The armed suspects entered the house of Ephraim Mphedio, 40, in Troya, Vaalbank, at about 23:40 and demanded money and the house keys, said Mpumalanga police spokesperson Superintendent Abie Khoabane on Tuesday.
"They forced everyone in the house to lie down," said Khoabane.
Two suspects searched the whole house while the other kept watch.
They then fired several shot in the air and fled the scene.
Police have opened a house robbery docket.
