Jane Furse - A man has been charged with killing another man in a drunken argument over who was older.
Mahlomola Tsietsi Mankge, 21, of Glencowie village near Jane Furse in Limpopo was not asked to plead to murder when he appeared in the Nebo Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
His bail of R1 500 was extended until he appears again on August 21 to hear if the National Prosecuting Authority has decided to prosecute him or not.
Mankge is accused of stabbing dead Phillip Senyane, 21, with a knife at the Phonyokga Bar Lounge at about 20:00 on March 29.
Senyane was stabbed once in his right shoulder and once in the head.
Other patrons rushed him to St Ritas Hospital where he was certified dead on arrival.
