Polokwane - A 37-year-old man was hijacked after a bumper bashing between Dendron and Bandelierskop on Tuesday afternoon, Limpopo police said on Wednesday.
The man, an employee of a milling company, had been collecting cash from stores in the area when his white Nissan Hardbody was hit from behind by a maroon Volkswagen Jetta, Inspector Ntobeng Phala said.
When he stopped to check the damage and exchange insurance details, the four occupants of the Jetta slapped him a few times and, at gunpoint, stole his car, cellphone and over R16 000 in cash.
Police are investigating.
