Bikes collide with bakkie, 8 hurt

Johannesburg - Eight people were seriously injured on Sunday when two motorcycles ploughed into the back of a bakkie on the R512, north of Johannesburg, Gauteng Provincial Traffic Services spokesperson Inspector Charlotte Thapedi said.
Five people travelling on the back of the light delivery van, one of the motorcycle drivers, and two motorcycle passengers were injured.
The wreckage burst into flames, Thapedi said.
Two people were airlifted to Sunninghill Hospital while the other victims were transported by ambulance to the Sunninghill Hospital.
