Johannesburg - The Assets Forfeiture Unit seized a house and a number of luxury vehicles in upmarket Houghton on Thursday, following a raid on the premises last week in which two suspected drug dealers were arrested.
Unit special director Ouma Rabaji said the unit confiscated the house in 5th Avenue as well as a BMW convertible, a Toyota Camry and a Nissan bakkie.
A full size snooker table, a home theatre system and the contents of a home gym and video machines were also seized.
Two men of Pakistani origin were arrested in last Thursday's raid.
Ten thousand Mandrax tablets and compressed dagga with a combined value of about R400 000 were found in the house, together with three money counting machines and five air cargo crates filled with empty cellphone packages.
Rabaji said investigations were continuing and the two arrested men would appear in court on October 13 for a bail application.
