'Councillor gave me HIV'

Rustenburg - A councillor appeared in Tlhabane magistrate's court on Monday on charges of attempted murder, assault and rape.
David Titi Pilane, 35, was arrested on Friday after his girlfriend reported him to police for allegedly deliberately infecting her with the HIV virus.
His case has been postponed to April 23 for a bail application.
Speaker also in court
The former speaker of Rustenburg, Elizabeth Seduke, also has to appear in court - on a charge of theft of cellphones. Her case has been postponed to June 19.
She has another case of intimidation, extortion and corruption coming in the regional court on July 4.
Seduke is out on bail of R1000.
