Lotz: No let-off for Fred

Cape Town - The Cape High Court has refused to acquit Fred van der Vyver, on trial for the 2005 hammer murder of his girlfriend Inge Lotz.
Judge Deon van Zyl on Tuesday turned down Van der Vyver's application for discharge, made at the end of the State's case.
Van der Vyver's advocate argued that his client was fraudulently targeted by police under pressure to produce results in the investigation.
