Cable theft strands Cape trains

Cape Town - Hundreds of commuters in the Cape Peninsula were stranded on Friday as trains ground to a halt following cable theft, the SABC reported.
All trains heading into the city were said to have been delayed.
The cables were stolen at the Woodstock station where stranded commuters could be seen walking along the railway line.
Some passengers from the northern suburbs had been delayed by up to three hours.
