Drug factory raided in Jhb CBD

Johannesburg - Three men have been arrested after being caught manufacturing drugs in a small factory on Smith Street in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, police said on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Superintendent Lungelo Dlamini said over R1m worth of equipment, chemicals and drugs known as Tik and Cat were seized on Monday night when the police made the arrests.
"The three men were found while manufacturing the drugs and packaging them in small glass containers. This shows that they were being preparing for distribution," said Dlamini.
He said police also found a stolen vehicle on the premises.
