Marikana - An anxious night ended well for a man living on a Buffelspoort smallholding after burglars sent him home unharmed in his own ''stolen''
car.
Barry van Leer was bundled with various stolen articles into his car after his home was broken into in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The three thieves drove close to Rosslyn outside Pretoria.
There they all got out, unloaded the stolen goods and told Van Leer to go home, said inspector Erica Roos.
She said the 58-year-old plot dweller was held at knifepoint in his house while the thieves stole goods including a TV, a hi-fi set, a cellphone, satellite dish and two bottles of liquor.
