Durban - Four missing anglers have been rescued from the sea near Umvoti, KwaZulu-Natal, says National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) spokesperson Craig Lambinon.
Natal Sharks Board officials spotted them clutching their capsized boat during an aerial search, said Lambinon.
"They were fishing when their boat capsized at 16:30 on Saturday," he said.
An NSRI rescue boat has taken them to the Tugela River mouth in KwaZulu-Natal.
The anglers last made radio contact from their ski-boat Nazambane at 14:00 on Saturday, Lambinon said.
"Flares that were seen around 16:00 were believed to have been from their boat."
