Johannesburg - The tabling of a new liquor bill for Gauteng was postponed in the provincial legislature until further notice, officials in the office of finance and economic affairs MEC Jabu Moleketi said on Tuesday.
He had been expected to introduce the bill on Tuesday morning.
The Gauteng Liquor Bill is expected to close pubs and taverns at midnight, regulate Sunday trade and address self-regulation within the industry.
