PW Botha speaks

Johannesburg - Apartheid-era president PW Botha has given a rare on-camera interview from his home in the Wilderness and now the producers of the "legacy type historical interview" need an outlet for it.
Thuthuka Broadcasting's Mark Williams said on Thursday he and his partners were still looking for a market for the material.
He had commissioned Cliff Saunders, a familiar face on TV news in the '80s, to speak to the 89-year-old "Groot Krokodil".
"It is a very interesting interview. The purpose was to answer the question 'Who was PW Botha and what was his role in history?'," Williams said.
Williams and Saunders are still editing the material, but the interview will show Botha commenting on his fall from power in 1989 and, with the benefit of hindsight, comment on his 11-year tenure.
