Baghdad - Three suicide car bombs hit a US military position in the western Iraqi city of Al-Qaim near the border with Syria on Monday, the military said, adding that at least two Iraqi or US soldiers were wounded.
"What we have right now is three confirmed suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices," First Lieutenant Kate VandenBossche, a spokesperson for the US marines, told AFP.
"We are still trying to determine if the casualties were coalition or Iraqi security forces."
