Dead US pilot found in Iraq

Baghdad - The body of one of two missing United States pilots was found early on Tuesday in Iraq following the crash of two F/A-18 fighter jets, the US military said on Tuesday.
"Early this morning local time, search teams located the body of a pilot from one of two missing US Marine Corps F/A-18 aircraft" from the carrier USS Carl Vinson, a statement said.
"The aircraft had been flying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom when contact was lost at approximately 22:10 May 2. The status of the second crewmember is unknown at this time and search efforts continue.
"There was no initial indication of hostile fire in the area at the time contact was lost. The incident is under investigation," the statement added.
