Washington - The voice on a recording broadcast over Arab television networks was "probably" that of deposed Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, a US intelligence official said on Friday.
"The voice is probably Saddam's," the US Intelligence official said.
An audiotape attributed to Saddam Hussein aired on Dubai-based Al-Arabiya TV, and later on Qatar's Al-Jazeera satellite channel on Thursday, the 35th anniversary of the seizure of power by Saddam's Baath Party.
