Zarqawi sentenced to death

Amman - Jordan's state security court sentenced to death al-Qaeda frontman in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, and eight others on Wednesday for plotting a chemical bomb attack on intelligence services.
Judicial sources said that it was the third death sentence pronounced against the Jordanian-born Islamist, Zarqawi, in his absence, adding that three others were also sentenced to death in absentia.
The sources said alleged Jordanian ringleader Azmi Jayussi and four others were present in court after the judge pronounced sentence.
