London - British police arrested two more men in London on Monday in connection with the failed bomb attacks on the city on July 21, a police spokesperson said.
The arrests, both under anti-terrorism laws, came after London's Metropolitan police raided three addresses in south London, she said.
"I can confirm police today executed search warrants at two addresses in Stockwell and a third address in Clapham," she said.
"These were in connection with our investigations into the incidents on the London transport network on July 21."
One man was arrested in Clapham, and the other in nearby Stockwell, an area of south London where police have previously made arrests in connection with the apparently botched bombings.
It was at Stockwell underground station that police shot dead Brazilian electrician Jean Charles de Menezes in the mistaken belief he was carrying explosives a day after the attacks.
Four seeming would-be suicide bombers blew up devices on three subway trains and a bus on July 21, but fled after their bombs failed to fully detonate without causing injury.
On Friday, two men identified as among the suspected bombers were arrested on London, with a third held in Rome. The fourth had been detained in Britain earlier that week.
